Lalande de Pomerol The Château Treytins Lalande de Pomerol is made from grapes grown in clay and clay-gravel soils located on a gravel outcrop assuring good drainage. With an average age of more than 25 years, this vineyard is planted with 55% Cabernet Franc, 40% Merlot and 5% Cabernet Sauvignon. The yields are limited by Double Guyot pruning with bud removal. Manual leaf removal and crop thinning when necessary.
Integrated pest management against the enemies of vine. Harvesting at full maturity, partially by hand. Manuel sorting on a vibrated table Vinification in temperature-controlled stainless steel vats. Long maceration Maturing for 18 months in air conditioning cellars, 80% in vats and 20% in oak barrels. Bottled at the château. Château Treytins Lalande de Pomerol has a dark garnet color. Its bouquet reveals intense fruit aromas and remarkable freshness.
It is made to be drunk relatively
young, but it will benefit from aging for 4-7 years depending on the
vintages. |
