IN OUR CELLAR

Your 2005

This excellent vintage displays a very dense, deep black color. The nose is overflowing with notes of ripe red fruit.  The barrel will enhance the phenomenal structure of your 2005.

IN YOUR CELLAR

Garraud 2004 : This vintage, a classic Bordeaux, displays beautiful intense color and rich fruity notes on the nose, reinforced by the ever-present oak.

Garraud 2003 : The shock of bottling has dissipated; the nose is opening up with fresh, ripe fruit supported by the oak. Good acidity completes the balance of this wine.

Garraud 2002 : One to discover ! Still young, this wine will offer up its aromas when decanted and develop the surprising volume of this vintage. The finish is long and warm.

Garraud 2001 : Still showing signs of youth with notes of fresh fruit and a dark garnet color. The tannins are starting to soften, unveiling good balance on the palate, amplified by decanting.

Garraud 2000 : This reference for the vintage is evolving slowly. Amateurs of young wines will be able to enjoy it today : this wine displays a dense color and a firm yet clean nose. It is full and silky on the palate.  Decanting advised.

Garraud 1999 : Nearing its maturity, don’t hesitate to enjoy it now. The pleasure is immediate with the complex nose of fresh fruit aromas coupled with notes of evolution.  Rich on the palate with a good finish.

Garraud 1998 :  The grandeur of this vintage is confirmed with notes of candied fruit and truffle on the nose and fullness on the palate, all enhanced by decanting.

Garraud 1997 :  Don’t wait any longer. This wine has reached its apogee, displaying the ideal marriage of the last signs of youth (saturated color, slightly candied fruit aromas) and the first signs of maturity (notes of undergrowth and truffle, supple tannins).

Garraud 1996 : Enjoy it now, this wine is approaching its peak. The nose is very open, elegant, the palate displays good volume and a lingering finish.

Garraud 1995 : The nose is still fresh, a sign of constant evolution. Enjoy its fullness and long finish now. Decanting advised.

Garraud 1994 : Don’t wait, this wine has reached its apogee : the nose displays classic notes of evolution with aromas of undergrowth, truffle and mushroom. The tannins, showing more and more evolution, support the great volume. Decanting favors the aromatic expression.

 -

L’Ancien 2000 : Superb but young ! The oak is still present, yet slowing beginning to mellow. The attack is powerful and unveils great volume supported by fine tannins. The finish is never-ending. Decanting advised.

L’Ancien 1999 : This wine can be enjoyed now or later. Beautiful dense color, the fruit is starting to take over the oak, even more so if decanted. Plenty of volume is supported by tightly knit tannins. The finish is long and warm.

-

Treytins Montagne St-Émilion 2002 : Very attractive now with well-developed fruit and a supple tannic structure ! It will be even better in the next 2 years.

Treytins Montagne St-Émilion 2001 :  Approaching maturity, the black fruit aromas intermingle with grilled notes from the barrel. Lots of volume and a warm finish.

Treytins Montagne St-Émilion 2000 : This wine has reached its maturity.  The aromatic richness is perfect. It will stay at its apogee for a few more years.
